Welcome to toobmap
These terms govern your use of the toobmap Web App and, once it is released, the toobmap Chrome Extension (collectively, "the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.
Responsible Use
You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or prohibited activities. This includes using toobmap with YouTube videos whose content (including title, description, or other metadata) violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
Our AI-powered features are provided by Google's Gemini API, and your use of these features is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Prohibited Use Policy. You agree not to send any content for analysis that is harmful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise in violation of these policies.
Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with and depends on third-party services. Your use of toobmap is also subject to their respective terms and policies. The primary services are:
- Google: For AI analysis and YouTube data, governed by the Google Terms of Service and Gemini API Terms.
- MapTiler: For maps and geocoding, governed by the MapTiler Terms and Conditions.
- Supabase: For account authentication and data storage, governed by the Supabase Terms of Service.
- Vercel: For hosting the Web App, governed by the Vercel Terms of Service.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be accurate, reliable, or available. The Service depends on third-party services, including Google APIs (YouTube and Gemini). Their availability or any changes to their terms or functionality may impact our Service without notice. The locations identified by our AI are for informational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, toobmap and its developers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time-to-time. Any changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
